Small Particle Recognition Kit for Low Energies
Overview
SPaRKLE, a versatile Payload of the ESA Academy Esperiments programme, will study various space-related phenomena such as:
- Gamma-Ray Bursts
- Terrestrial Gamma-ray Flashes
- Charged particles and Space Weather transients
SPaRKLE will be carried into orbit inside Space Rider, an uncrewed high-tech robotic space laboratory that will stay in a low orbit for approximately two months.
